Developing analog/mixed-signal blocks that are integrated into multiple SoCs. The development of the blocks includes ADCs, DACs, DC/DC converters (buck/boost topologies), comparators, temperature sensors, on-chip sensing circuits, LDOs, GPIOs, etc.
Work on Analog circuits and sub-system specifications, design, analysis, and implementation, including schematic capture, circuit simulation, layout supervision, silicon validation, etc.

Development and management of central tools, solutions and automated processes for “CAD IT Solutions & Central Services” group inside the IT “Infrastructure and Services” organization, with special focus on services, tools and software used for the technical management of SW licenses used by CAD designers. Integration with Corporate IT projects and programs is also required.
The CAD-IT Central Tools & Process Automation Engineer is mandated for the day-today management, development and maintenance, of solutions and tools for CAD licenses and the CAD-IT environment in which these are used for electronic design, according to defined Service and/or Operational level agreements.
He/she has also to implement business change requests to existing CAD-IT SW solutions or systems, and also follow and resolve users’ incidents in an effective and efficient manner respecting the defined service level objectives.
Key accountability of CAD-IT Central Tools & Process Automation Engineer is an effective and efficient management of CAD-IT SW infrastructure, solutions and services.
Good knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating system, and user environment (tools, variables…).
Knowledge of shell scripting (C/Bash/Bourne/Korn)
SW code production and testing. knowledge of Perl language and other programming languages and automation tools is a must.

You will be a contributor in STMicroelectronics new facility installation and start-up, moving then to maintenance support to the facility.
In the first phase You will act as a Hook-up engineer, and in this role you will: Follow on the floor the hook-up of a set of manufacturing equipment, i.e. the connection between the battery limits (facilities panel to the equipment) and the equipment installation, up to the start-up of the hardware (before qualification stage of the equipment). Ensure that the hook-up and installation activities, although they might be carried out by contractor personnel, are compliant with hook-up and installation specifications (including P&I, schematics and drawings) quality, safety and environmental rules and any applicable STMicroelectronics standard, regulations and good practices.
Contribute to on-time execution of hook-up and installation, with follow-up of daily works, highlighting any deviation versus the specifications and/or schedule
Participate to periodic meetings on activities progress with suppliers and STMicroelectronics project team.
Participate to commissioning tests to certify the compliance of the hook-up and installations during the commissioning stages of manufacturing equipment.
Contribute to the collection of documentation related to commissioning In the second phase You will act as an Equipment Maintenance engineer and in this role, for a set of manufacturing equipment and ancillaries, you will prepare/update maintenance procedures according to system manuals and learning curve.
Recommend/establish a preventive maintenance schedule and control plan.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on as set of manufacturing equipment and ancillaries, either in the mechanical or electrical/electronic domains, following the maintenance operating procedures and system’s manuals
Ensure that maintenance activities, carried out by You or STMicroelectronics colleagues or contractors are compliant with safety and environmental rules and/or contractual agreements. Analyze equipment performances and act towards the achievement of target indicators (KPIs). Initiate improvement activities on the equipment performance by regular teamwork with process engineering, production and facilities teams
Spread with maintenance team the know-how acquired during installation and startup/ramp-up phases and lessons learned and interact with tool vendors for improvements
Candidates that best fit this role should have/be:
(minimum) Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or Electronics Engineering
Master degree in Automation and Robotics Engineering, with bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering, Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering
(Preferred): working experience in maintenance activities, best if in domains such as electro-medical equipment, industrial facilities equipment, chemical and gases facilities equipment

As the Application Engineer, the candidate will be part of a team and will follow various phases of product development such as Architecture definition, Specification definition, Tests plan implementation and electrical characterization/validation of our devices. He/she will contribute to the definition of new products leveraging on new applications knowledge as main factor for innovation.
As key member of a cross functional team he/she will work closely with divisional design and product engineers, quality organization and regional sales teams. The candidate will have a continuously interaction with customers through meeting/call and on-site support. He/she will also prepare the required documents (such as Application Notes, evaluation board) aiming at facilitating product design and promotion at our customers.
